Sri Lanka best pilgrimage months timing Buddhist tourism?

Buddhist pilgrimage timing: (1) Adam's Peak (Sri Pada) - climbing season Dec-May, most spiritual on Poya (full moon) nights, peak crowds Jan-April. (2) Anuradhapura (Sri Maha Bodhi + 8 sacred sites) - year-round pilgrimage, especially crowded Vesak (May). (3) Kandy (Temple of Tooth) - Esala Perahera July-August is peak, but sacred year-round; daily evening pujas at 6:30pm. (4) Mihintale (birthplace of Sri Lankan Buddhism) - Poson (June full moon). (5) Kelaniya (Vesak celebrations). (6) Kataragama (Esala festival July-August). For structured pilgrimage: Feb-March hits multiple sites at their best.
Planning around Poson (June) for Mihintale specifically. Question: is climbing Adam's Peak in early June still possible or already off-season? I want to combine both if feasible.
For 14-day pilgrimage circuit: (Day 1-2) Colombo arrival + Gangaramaya, (Day 3-4) Anuradhapura + Mihintale, (Day 5-6) Polonnaruwa, (Day 7-8) Kandy + Temple of Tooth, (Day 9-11) Adam's Peak climb + rest, (Day 12) Kataragama, (Day 13-14) Colombo return. Chauffeur with Buddhist route familiarity essential.
Vesak (May full moon) is Buddhist calendar's most significant day - all sacred sites are ceremonial peak but crowds heavy. Poya days monthly are more manageable pilgrimage windows. Poson (June) is birth of Sri Lankan Buddhism - Mihintale focused.
