(6) Wooden elephants from Kandy artisans (traditional carved, not painted tourist junk). (7) Ayurvedic products from Siddhalepa (their balm is iconic). (8) Coconut oil (cold-pressed) - flagship products. Skip: gems (buy only from NGJA-certified sources), Buddhist statuary (can't export freely), synthetic sarongs.
