Perfect timing. June is peak dry season for east coast (Trincomalee, Nilaveli, Passikudah, Arugam Bay). Calm sea, clear skies, warm 28-32C. Whale watching around Trinco starts (June-Sept season). Uppuveli / Nilaveli beaches at their calmest for family swimming. Pigeon Island snorkeling excellent (boat 20 min from Nilaveli - blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles). Book east coast hotels 2-3 months ahead - June is peak season there and top hotels fill (Trinco Blu, Uga Bay, Amaranthe).

Combine: 5-6 nights east coast + 2-3 nights cultural triangle (also dry in June) + skip south coast in June (monsoon there). Book east coast then work backwards on planning.
