Top-tier for 2026: Cape Weligama (RESPLENDENT collection - private plunge pools, cliff-top setting), Ceylon Tea Trails (Relais & Chateaux - restored tea planter bungalows), Amangalla (Galle Fort heritage), Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle, Wild Coast Tented Lodge (Yala - luxury tented), Mount Cinnamon in Colombo. Amanwella closed briefly and reopened under new management (mixed 2025 reviews).

Middle-luxe worth considering: Uga Escapes (Uga Chena Huts near Yala, Uga Bay in Passikudah, Ulagalla in Anuradhapura) - excellent service, boutique scale, better value than the top tier.
