(2) 1st Class Observation Saloon - AC, panoramic REAR windows (train travels rear-first for the view), tinted windows that DON'T open, rearward-facing seats, ~USD 30 per person. (3) 2nd Class Reserved - non-AC, opening windows for photos, hangout culture. Choose Observation Saloon for AC + panoramic view (photography compromise). 2nd class reserved for the classic 'lean out and photograph' experience.
For photo enthusiasts: 2nd class reserved beats Observation Saloon. Observation has tinted windows and no fresh-air access. 1st class reserved is the middle ground (AC + opening windows). Cost difference small - the experience is what matters.
