Say no. Stick to the roads, use a driver who knows, and do not take a track that looks like a shortcut for photos or time. That is the whole practical caution. Bags stay in the vehicle at any pause. If a map line leaves the A9 into scrub, ignore it. Ordinary tarmac is the route.
