Sticky humid night air in the room after the parade. Run AC with fan only, or crack a window. Not hotel AC too cold insomnia as the only angle, and not perfume-and-sweat thick curb air from mid-parade.

In humid Kandy, a low AC with fan is usually more comfortable than an open window that lets mosquitoes and street noise in. If you hate AC, mosquito net plus fan — not a wide-open street window after midnight.
