Stomach still unsettled after yesterday — roadside king coconut or stick to sealed bottled water?

Queasy since a late rice-and-curry. Not asking for a diagnosis. Friend swears a fresh king coconut settles things; another friend says only sealed bottles until I feel normal. Standing at a cart with a knife and a cold nut. Which do people actually choose the day after a traveler stomach?

If you are still actively sick, sealed water and bland food are the safer default. A freshly cut king coconut from a busy cart is a common local recovery drink when you already feel turning the corner — clear fluid, mild sweetness — but it is not medicine and a dirty knife or warm nut can undo a fragile stomach. Choose a cart with a queue, watch them cut a new one, drink soon, skip if you still have fever or vomiting. I will not invent cure claims. Bottle when unsure; coconut when you are clearly improving and the cart looks clean.

Waited until the queasy morning passed, then one fresh king coconut. Sealed water the whole night before. Felt right.

Bought the bottle for now. Maybe coconut after lunch if I stay stable. Thanks for the sequence.

Same advice we give guests — fluids first, adventurous carts later. No heroics mid-bug.
