Street lights on our Katukele lane just came back - is that CEB or still the hotel gen
Inside, the generator is still coughing (other thread). Outside, the lane lights just popped on, then one went off, then on. Is this the grid actually back in Katukele or a feeder flicker we should not trust with a kettle.

Lane lights and a guesthouse generator are not the same circuit. Lights returning on the road can be CEB, or a nearby generator, or a flicker. Do not plug a kettle into a maybe. Ask reception whether their board flipped. Katukele is off the 1.27 km loop, so it is not "the relic street still has cones so of course the power is out."
No CEB Katukele outage notice found on the 9:43 crawl. Do not announce a neighbourhood blackout on a forum. If lights are stable for 20 minutes and reception says grid, then grid. If not, generator rules until morning.
