We folded and held the stroller. Unfold it for the walk-back while the cortege is still on the ring, or wait until police reopen. Not afternoon stroller park versus fold, and not shoulder-carry for the opening ten minutes.

Wait until you are on a calmer outer pavement away from the densest kerb before you unfold. Unfolding in the front crush blocks people and draws officer attention. Once you are clearly exiting, unfold and move steadily.
