Wanted a Negombo lagoon boat Sunday. Strong winds advisory looks valid into mid-morning. Postpone the whole thing, or book a later slot once the morning blow eases.

Go later if the operator will shift you past the advisory window. Forcing a dawn slot into strong winds is miserable spray.

Postpone entirely if kids are aboard and cancellation is cheap. Lagoon chop plus nervous parents is not a memory you want.

Ask what time local boats actually left yesterday. Lived timing beats the pushy brochure.
