First time through Chavakachcheri. Kids in a parked van while we duck into one ruin. I cannot tell if this is ordinary or we are about to make a tired mistake.

Monday Caution heat names Eastern Province plus Polonnaruwa, Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Vavuniya and Monaragala. Matale and Sigiriya are not on that list. Caution is not Extreme and not a town close. In Chavakachcheri, first light, water, a roofed hop, sit noon. Do not remix Matale or Sigiriya onto the named list.
We did ruins at opening and AC at midday. The Caution day is still a day, just not a hero walk at 1 p.m.
Kids in a parked van is a no. If the fan is dead, pay for AC or sit a museum. Pride is not shade.
