Hearing talk of PickMe surge Sunday between six and eight after a big festival weekend. Is that a real pattern from Kandy lodging, or rare enough that we should not overthink it.

Surge can happen when everyone leaves at once after festival weekends. Soften it by leaving slightly earlier or later than the obvious wave.

Compare Grab in the same minute. Sometimes one app is calm while the other spikes.

If the fare looks silly, cancel and wait a few minutes or use a desk-arranged car. Do not feed panic pricing.
