Saw a note about newer Colombo dining at Tamarind on Kinross. We land, want one proper Sunday lunch, then roll south. Worth the stop, or just grab something simpler near the highway out.

Worth it if you already want a Colombo lunch pause and can book or go early. Not worth a huge detour if you are racing a south-coast check-in.

Treat it as a sit-down reset after the airport, then leave with buffer. Do not stack it against a tight hotel arrival.

If kids are melting, a simpler plate closer to your route may be kinder than a destination lunch.
