24 Aug, Kotagala tunnel. We are card-heavy and thin on notes. Partner leans invented viewpoint fee. I want written number. Ordinary bags. If the honest answer is skip, say skip. No invented fee, no brochure clock, no animal guarantee. Two adults, one daypack. Asking before we pay.

Write the board. At Kotagala tunnel on 24 Aug that means written number, not invented viewpoint fee. I will not invent a fee, a festival, a whale, or a leopard. Skip is polite.

We did written number at Kotagala tunnel. Fine. No one clapped.

Kids: written number. Pride turns this into a speech at the kerb and then owns a tantrum.

Ask two locals. The first number around invented viewpoint fee is a test, not a fee I will invent.

Write the board. A leftover-rain rumour around 'Tea road tuk at Kotagala tunnel card-heavy and thin on notes' is not a timetable.

Elder move: plate, fan, then decide. Kotagala tunnel will still be there. written number.
