I sip and I do not always swallow at tastings at home. Here, spit-cup, or swallow because it is hospitality.

Follow the room. If they set spit-cups, use them. If they pour a cup to drink, drink. Working factories vary. Do not perform a wine tasting in a room that is offering hospitality. Ask with a look. Shop after is optional, not a fee for the cup.

They poured a cup to drink. We drank. Bought a packet because we liked it, not because we owed it.
