Keep the east hop if the conductor is already calling. A bit of town is a junction and a tea. Do not lose the Saturday hop for a slow walk.

We kept the hop. Fine. Town was a five-minute stretch. Not a reason to sit until the next one.

If the next east is a long gap, walk twenty minutes and eat. Then board. Do not invent a Teldeniya morning tour.
