27 Aug, Temple Street Kandy, on a drier east morning. Train lands after listed 6:43. Bags. First timers. Need a local, not a brochure. If the festival continues to 28th Diya/Dahawal, do not pack us like it ends on the kerb tonight.

If you land after 7 the city is already lining up. Tuk to the room, dump bags, then walk. Do not drag suitcases toward Dalada. Agree the fare before you sit. Gopallawa still two-way in the lived traffic talk.
