Saturday 22 Aug, Kandy, last Kumbal before Randoli. Listed 6:28 PM. We are pregnant, exit matters more than front row. Pin in mind: the alley mouth you can peel into without crossing the line. Wheelchair uncle — which corner is still flat. Street if we can. No municipal ticket I will invent. Water already in the bag.

Street is free. the alley mouth you can peel into without crossing the line is a real pin if you sit it from late afternoon, not from a three-o'clock cook. 5th Kumbal table 6:28 PM on Saturday 22 Aug is when they start leaving the Maligawa, not when the tusker fills the pin. One row back still sees brass; first row people who camped are wrecked before the casket. Kumbal is a real night, not a failed Randoli. Saturday 22 Aug is the last Kumbal; Randoli nights follow after this. Agree a tuk drop on Peradeniya Road or Katugastota Road, not on Raja Veediya at table time. The grid is cones and shoulders. Do not invent a municipal ticket or a city-wide viewing pass.

Poncho. Umbrella on that pinch is a fight. They run wet if it is the procession.

Kids: sit. Pride turns Kandy into a speech at the kerb. Then tea.

Seated later. Unreserved standing with shells is how you hate Saturday.
