Seated later beats a maybe now. Do not invent a line close. Agree a tuk drop on Peradeniya Road or Katugastota Road, not on Raja Veediya at table time. The grid is cones and shoulders. Dump bags, bottles in the bag, walk the last bit to the clock-tower island if police still let a foot hold. Unreserved standing with hard-shells in festival week is how you hate the hop. No named CMB delay we can sit on.
If you sit a table, order. Occupying shade with a bottle you brought is the rude version. Fine.
