Saturday 22 Aug, Midigama. Hikkaduwa harbour morning, leftover chop, desk still selling glass-bottom. Partner wants the photo. I want the feet. If Ahangama is kinder, say so.

The pole is a pole, not a cocktail. Stay where you can stand. I am not quoting an official warning colour as a 22 Aug gazette. Inflatables past the first break are how you buy a plaster. The bar does not write the sea.

Ask two people. The first story about the reef right at a low tide is not a timetable.

We dumped bags first. Dragging hard-shells into a kerb is theatre. Then tea.
