Saturday 22 Aug, Hiriketiya. Matara-bound, Unawatuna halt looking like a photo not a plan. Pin is the small-bay shoulder. Partner wants the photo. I want the feet.

Write the board at the station, not a 2019 blog. Seated later beats a maybe now. I will not invent a Saturday cancellation. If the halt is a maybe, plan the grown-up station.

Carrier, water, peel when limp. Ordinary tiredness.

One soda, ten minutes, move. Do not camp a four-top for email. No gazette.

Ask two people. The first story about the small-bay shoulder is not a timetable.

We dumped bags first. Dragging hard-shells into a kerb is theatre. Then tea.

Ice out. Tap stays no. The plate that was still turning was enough.

Locals stay where they can stand. Pride argues with a pole and then buys a plaster. Ordinary.

We peeled before the return. The crush after the last drummers is when people get stupid.
