Saturday 22 Aug, Kandy, last Kumbal before Randoli. Listed 6:28 PM. We are three friends who will argue on the pavement. Pin in mind: the SWRD lake-bend rail with kids feet off the road. Shoes we can stand in for three hours versus temple-ready sandals. Street if we can. No municipal ticket I will invent. Water already in the bag.

Kumbal is a real night, not a failed Randoli. Saturday 22 Aug is the last Kumbal; Randoli nights follow after this. Skip the courtyard if you have nothing to cover with. No whole-city dress code.
