If a burst hits at 6:53 PM the outer white shirt will soak. Thin dry layer underneath, or just one shirt and a spare in the bag.

Wear a thin dry layer under the white shirt now; a spare in the zip is backup, not a mid-crowd change.

A thin dry singlet under the white shirt saved us last night; the outer layer took the burst and we were not freezing on the walk back.

A spare shirt in a zip is backup, not a mid-crowd change. Wear the dry layer now so you are not peeling clothes on the curb.
