S7 leaves Tolmachevo at 5:15 a.m. on Thursdays and 5:00 a.m. on Sundays, both arriving Colombo at 1:40 p.m. Which one do we take.

Sunday 5:00 if you want the first date, because 20 December is a Sunday. Thursday 5:15 if that weekday fits the rest of the trip. Both land at 1:40. Do not invent extra weekdays.

We would take Sunday so the first week is simple, then swap to Thursday later if we stay longer.
