We came in late after Second Randoli and the night desk unlocked quietly. Tip them or just thank them. Not text-the-desk-we-are-walking-back from peel tips, and not what-to-ask-desk-right-after-finished from First Randoli wrap.

A sincere thank-you is enough at many small hotels; a small tip is kind if they carried bags or unlocked after midnight policies.

If unsure, ask softly whether tipping night staff is customary there — never make it awkward in front of a queue.
