Tout just grabbed my wrist for a special viewpoint right now - follow or shake him off
Random guy, "sir sir 50 metres, balcony, last chance, relic coming back." He already has my sleeve. Crowd is moving. This is exactly the "posed as guides" thing from yesterday's briefing isn't it.

Shake him off. DIG Masinghe yesterday: last year, people posed as tourist guides and charged foreigners excessive amounts for seats; extra Tourist Police this year. A wrist grab is not hospitality. There is no secret 50-metre balcony that opens at 8.41 for walk-ups.
Same script Wednesday in three languages. We said no, he followed 20 metres, then found a German couple. Stay with the police tape and the people you arrived with.
Nearest uniform, or 081 22 33 333. You do not owe him a conversation.
