If 1500 hectares of watershed mountain is going protected, do we stick to town and a tea factory this weekend, or still do a short forest-edge walk.

You can still do both. Town and a factory tour are not the Forest hectares. A short forest-edge walk on a used path is still ordinary until a posted gazette names a closed bit. Do not invent that every tree-line is off limits.

We booked the factory and left a walk as optional. No need to cancel the walk in advance.

If the group is nervous, do the factory first and decide the walk after lunch.
