One free morning in Trincomalee. Is a short snorkel window or a fort morning still calm enough this season, or should we stick to the beach and skip boats entirely.

Fort mornings are the reliable calm choice. Snorkel only if a local boatman says the bay looks settled that morning — do not prepay the night before blindly.

Nilaveli beach time beats a rough boat. If you snorkel, keep it short and morning-only.
