A tuk at the door quoted a noon fare that felt high. Take it, or walk to the ordinary stand.

Walk to the stand if the door quote is silly. Noon fares at the step run high. The stand is ordinary and closer than it looks. Take the door tuk only if someone cannot walk.

We walked. Five minutes. Half the quote. Fine in this light rain.

We took the door tuk. Bags were heavy and nobody wanted the walk. Pay and stop arguing.
