Agree the fare before you sit. Stay on if the clock is a procession; tea is not a timetable. Write it. If PickMe shows an ordinary number, take it. I will not invent a 21 Aug tariff.
If it is steaming at halt kettle, sit. If not, pack fruit and walk to Kandy station. Biscuits in the bag anyway. The wait is the hungry part.
