Honestly stuck in Kahandamodara. Tuk wants a night price for a road we cannot see. Partner and I do not agree and the bags are already packed the wrong way.

Local take from Kahandamodara: ask the stall or the desk, not a group chat. Ordinary small-town hop. Do not invent a shutdown. If you can see a seated option, take it. If the shutter is down, morning is the shop. Then tea.

We asked the tea stall, not the tout. Kahandamodara stalls usually know which van is real. First light is kinder than noon.

If the quote is double a sensible hop, wait for another one. If it is a small bump, pay and stop feeding the argument. Call the desk before you guess.
