A tuk is ordinary. A Fort-is-shut price is not, because only Church Street is coned. Move a sitting Grab pin. Agree rupees. Festival ended Friday. No Saturday or Sunday Kandy procession. In Kandy this is an ordinary leftover decision. If the desk already holds, keep it. We would not put kids on a packed night run. Then ask the desk which gate.

We would pick the quieter version in Kandy and stop adding leftover ideas.

Leftover Sunday is a room night more often than it is a hero hop.
