First-timer Bundala guide: arrive by 5:30am (dawn safari) or 2:30pm (afternoon). Book jeep evening before. Bring: hat, sunscreen, water 2L, snacks, camera + zoom lens (200-400mm ideal), binoculars, cash for entry. Season: Nov-Mar.

Etiquette: no loud noises, no leaving jeep, no littering, tip driver (LKR 500-1000) after excellent sightings. Photography: no flash. Stay-time-per-sighting: 5-15 min, respect wildlife space. Sighting rate: flamingos, wetland birds typical in season.
