Showers keep returning around the lake. Carry a proper fold umbrella or buy a disposable poncho for mid-morning walks. Not buy-a-poncho-only shopping, and not borrow-hotel-umbrella while we shop.

If wind is gusty a cheap poncho covers bags better; for stop-start lake walks a compact umbrella is nicer. Many of us carry both when showers keep cycling.
