Shop is keen. Water is stirred. I have a cert. I also have a brain. 19 Aug leftover SW, not a glassy morning.

Polite no if the bay looks stirred and flags are yellow. A shop can know the bay and still want a seat filled. Leftover swell is a reason to sit, not a reason to prove you are a diver. Another morning exists. Do not let a shop invent a secret calm patch you cannot see.

We said no, snorkelled nothing, swam later. Fine.

We took the quieter fork on this: Unawatuna dive shop pushing a checkout in leftover swell. Fine. No one clapped.

Kids: sit. Pride turns 'Unawatuna dive shop pushing a checkout in leftover swell' into a speech at the kerb.
