Unawatuna night noise versus a Fort room — which actually sleeps after leftover rain on a tin roof

Fort was damp but quiet-ish. Unawatuna listing has a beach bar. We can still switch the second night. Kid needs sleep.

Fort sleeps if the bar is not under your window and the leak is controlled. Unawatuna beach-bar rooms do not sleep on a leftover-rain weekend-adjacent night. Tin roof rain is loud everywhere. Pick the lane, not the brochure word 'quiet'. Ask the host what is actually next door.

We stayed Fort, slept. Fine. Unawatuna can be a morning swim.
