Rental: dive shops in Nilaveli, Trincomalee, Hikkaduwa, Weligama rent GoPro Hero 12 + housing (~1500-3000 LKR per day). Some carry TG-6 or basic underwater compacts. Serious underwater DSLR/mirrorless housing rental extremely limited; bring your own.

Bring: microfiber cloth (housing gets water spots), silica gel packs (housing humidity), spare batteries, extra memory cards. Wide-angle setups need daylight; strobe/light for reef fish work. Reef-safe sunscreen mandatory. Check housing condition before renting — cracked O-ring = flood.
