Uphill stretch of the ring looking thinner while lake-facing stays packed - slide now or stay put
Uphill stretch of the ring looking thinner while the lake-facing block stays packed. Slide toward the thinner stretch now, or stay put this late. Not which side thin gaps Dalada versus lake as a general hunt, not sliding twenty metres for angle, and not picking a side at 6 PM.

If you already see and hear well, stay put this late — sliding costs the spot you have. Move only if you are crushed and the uphill path along outer pavement is clearly open between troupes. Do not cut across the lane.
Crossing tape may still block the short cut — walk the long outer way if you move.
Thinner does not always mean better leftover view — check whether dancers still face your curb.
