We have heard about vegetarian dana or free food lines along the route. How do visitors join respectfully without cutting the queue or treating it like a tourist buffet.

Join the back of the line, accept what is offered, and say thank you quietly. It is hospitality, not a sampling station — do not skip ahead with a camera up.

Watch locals for the flow. If a volunteer points you to a visitor side, follow that; otherwise wait your turn like everyone else.
