Visiting organic farms or permaculture projects in Sri Lanka?
I'm interested in sustainable agriculture. Any farms that welcome visitors for tours or short stays?

There are several organic and permaculture farms, especially in the hill country and some in the south, that offer tours, workshops, or volunteer opportunities. Some have guest rooms or homestay options. These are usually small-scale and authentic. Search for 'organic farm stay Sri Lanka' or ask at eco-conscious guesthouses. The experiences vary from very basic to quite comfortable. It's a great way to learn and support sustainable projects directly.
We spent a couple of nights at a small organic farm near Ella. Helped with some light work in exchange for meals and learned a lot. Very grounding experience.
