Peel behind shops to a named road the desk said stays two-way. Do not wait for inner streets to reopen.

We walked the long way around and it was calmer. Kids stayed on the shop side the whole way.

Keep a lit shop as the peel landmark. Drifting with the crowd is how you end up on the wrong side of the line.
