Walk-out from Ampitiya uphill with a sleeping kid toward Peradeniya Road, cones still up

28 Aug after the last Randoli drums. Streets are leftover, not a restart. Phone at 8 percent at Ampitiya uphill with a sleeping kid. I will not invent a Saturday Kandy cortege. Need a walk-out that does not argue with cones. Two hard-shells we should have dumped.

Walk out of the cones to a bigger road, then a tuk. Do not PickMe from the kerb. Leftover is leftover. There is no Saturday restart. Tea, then the room. Lived pin: Ampitiya uphill with a sleeping kid.

Jumper in the bag. Hill air is rude after a Kandy night.

Kids: sit. Pride turns this into a speech at the kerb.

No restart. Anyone selling a Saturday kerb is selling air.

Elder vetoed standing. Seated later won. Fine.

Kids lasted forty minutes. We peeled. Tusker or not, bedtime won.
