I'm a cricket fan. How can I watch a domestic or international match while I'm here? Any tips for attending?

Check the Sri Lanka Cricket website or Cricinfo for schedules. Big international matches are at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo or Galle International Stadium. You can buy tickets online or at the gate. Domestic matches (Premier League, etc.) are free or cheap to attend and very atmospheric - great way to experience local passion for the game. Go with a local if possible.

Even if there's no match, visiting the grounds or joining locals watching on big screens at beach bars during big tournaments is fun.
