Cover legs and shoulders, shoes off inside. Street is mixed. Skip is polite. A wrap from the stall is fine; a see-through beach sarong is not. Do not make the doorway at Wellawatte a fitting room. No drone, no flash. I will not invent a whole-city dress code.

We dumped bags. Dragging shells into a kerb is theatre.

One soda, ten minutes, move. No gazette.

Carrier, water, peel when limp. Ordinary tiredness.

If you sit a table, order. Occupying shade with a bottle you brought is the rude version.

We named a fare before we sat. Fine. The first number at Wellawatte was a test.

Pride bargains twenty minutes and then sits anyway. Write it.
