Afternoon shower soaked our socks while waiting for First Randoli. Hotel dryer, shop towel, or just suffer through. Not cobbler repair and not backup-shoes shopping.

If your hotel is close, a quick sock change beats standing wet for hours. Otherwise buy a cheap towel or spare socks from a shop on the approach and wring shoes at the curb — suffering wet feet into night invites blisters.
