Whale or boat desk at Pasikudah bay — walk-up at bay or prepaid that still cannot promise a back
21 Aug, camera bag, phone only, tripod stays packed. Desk pushing prepaid for tomorrow. August. We can dawn walk-up.

Walk-up is still ordinary. Prepaid is a seat, not a sighting. Shallow bay; toddler knee-deep, no inflatables past the first break. I will not promise a whale. I will not invent a 21 Aug cancellation.
We paid one soda, cooled, left toward Kalkudah. Fine. Occupying shade with a bottle you brought is the rude version.
Closed shoes at bay. Sandals after leftover rain is how you meet the clinic. Walk the inside lane.
Leave a buffer. Agree the fare before you sit. Do not cut it to twenty minutes at Pasikudah bay and then argue in a jam.
If it is steaming at bay, sit. If not, pack fruit and walk to Kalkudah. Biscuits in the bag anyway. The wait is the hungry part.
