I keep hearing about bowl shaped pancakes. Do hotels serve them for breakfast.

Egg hoppers are delicious, bowl shaped pancakes made from fermented rice flour and coconut milk, with an egg cracked directly into the center while it cooks. The edges are crispy while the center is soft.

Almost all good hotels and guesthouses serve them for breakfast. You eat them by tearing off the crispy edges and dipping the egg center into spicy seeni sambol or dhal curry.
