WhatsApp guy selling Queens Hotel Perahera seats for USD 150 - real?
Need two seats for 27 August grand night. Hotel said their gallery is gone. Random number on Instagram wants USD 150/pp. KMC site looks cheaper. What is a real price so I do not get a screenshot and no chair?

Street is free. Paid-ish: Kandy Municipal grandstands (guides quote LKR 5,000-28,500 depending on row and night) and hotel galleries. A reseller listing Queens around USD 80-110 for later Randoli nights is in the same universe as the hotel's own listing. USD 150 on WhatsApp for a "confirmed seat" with no voucher trail is how people get burned. Call the hotel.
We paid a cafe balcony on a Kumbal night, about LKR 8,000 each, cash, first floor. Fine. For the 27th, if you cannot verify the seat map, stand on the street and spend the money on a late dinner.
Hotel gallery listings I saw: about USD 80 Kumbal / 95-110 Randoli at Queens via a tour desk. Not a government tariff. Confirm with the hotel directly.
If booking.com and the hotel both say gone, do the street. Bring a pad, sit from 4.
