Third Randoli is 6:53 PM and traffic diversions are in the morning papers. When should we leave the hotel so we are not late and not standing an extra hour in rain.

Leave with a one-hour walking buffer on a rain day; eat first so you are not buying snacks in a wet queue.

We left more than an hour early last night and still hit a slow last block; tonight I would add even more given the extra diversions.

If your hotel is close, forty minutes is enough; if you need a drop at the edge, add the diverted-road time the desk quotes.
